5th Annual Conference is sold out success

The Global Affinity Alliance met in Ho Chi Minh, Vietnam for its 5th Annual Conference. For the third time in five years, the conference was sold out weeks in advance. Members enjoyed the culturally rich atmosphere of Ho Chi Minh while re-connecting with existing partners and breaking into new global markets. This year, 300 members attended the 5th Annual Conference, participating in some 3,000 face-to-face meetings!

“This conference was a blast,” said Brian Majerus, managing director of Global Affinity Alliance. “GAA is a vibrant, outgoing, optimistic group of professionals who are passionate about everything they do, whether that’s getting down to business during One-on-Ones or competing during teambuilding activities, we always have a great time.”

The 5th Annual Conference kicked off with a team building journey that took participants on a competitive journey through the heart of Ho Chi Minh. It was here that members were able to squeeze in some extra networking, re-connect and shake off their first day jitters. The activity was sponsored by GAA member, NTEX.

“This was yet again another superbly organised GAA conference, this was our 5th one we have attended and it is great to see the network growing with like-minded businesses year on year. The team building was a huge success, got my first (gold) medal after years of trying! The One-on-One’s, as always, have developed leads for us already. Keep up the good work!” – Inter Global Forwarding

The last two days of the conference were reserved for serious One-on-One meetings where members had the opportunity to meet face-to-face with potential partners. This is where the conference has the most impact, enabling members to create new relationships that will ultimately lead to global opportunities.

Due to popular demand, GAA added four new sponsorship opportunities this year. These included a water bottle sponsor, charging station sponsor, stapler sponsor, and hand sanitizer sponsor. GAA is incredibly thankful to its network leaders for helping the group execute another successful meeting; if you’d like to become a sponsor at next year’s 6th Annual Conference, we suggest you book an opportunity early.
